The Ministry of Defense announces that over the last 24 hours, 26 fires have been reported, all of which have been neutralized, following the continuous work of operational forces on the ground.
These fire outbreaks have been identified in the regions of Vlora, Gjirokastra, Lezha, Shkodra, Dibra, Korça, Tirana, Kukës, Durrës and Berat.
Also mentioned is the fire in the industrial market in Durrës, which according to AKMC caused considerable damage to goods and equipment.
Meanwhile, the Institute of Geosciences presents a high risk level in Lezha, Durrës, Tirana, Berat and Fier, while moderate risk is expected in other regions.

The Ministry of Defense announces that 26 fires have been reported in the last 24 hours, all of which have been neutralized, following the work of operational forces on the ground.
These fires have been recorded in the regions of Vlora, Gjirokastra, Lezha, Shkodra, Dibra, Korca, Tirana, Kukës, Durrës and Berat. The fires have mainly affected vegetation, which has resulted in the burning of around 56 hectares of trees, bushes and grass. In two cases, fires have been recorded in a business and a residence, causing material damage.
In the municipality of Durrës, a fire that broke out in an industrial market caused considerable damage to goods and equipment, despite the rapid intervention of the forces.
Another fire was detected in two oil wells, in the village of Kozare, administrative unit of Kozare, municipality of Kuçovë. The local service of the MZSH of the municipality of Kuçovë went to the scene with 2 fire trucks and 8 officers, the MZSH Berat with 2 fire trucks and 7 officers, 4 police forces and 6 municipal forces, who worked to extinguish it. As a result, 2 electric motors of 2 oil wells were damaged. The cause of the fire was the rupture of low voltage wires.
64 firefighting vehicles and 449 operational forces were deployed in all firefighting operations.
Also, the Armed Forces deployed 2 firefighting vehicles with 14 personnel and 1 Cougar helicopter.
For today, the Institute of Geosciences forecasts a "HIGH" risk level in the regions of Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana, Berat and Fier, while in the other regions a "MODERATE" risk level is expected.
The National Civil Emergency Operations Center is monitoring the situation and ready to provide immediate support if necessary.
