Both are from Tepelena, connected to high governmental and political circles and have the same profile: they are leaders of international drug trafficking groups and women, they have killed and imposed fines, they have changed their names to escape justice and revenge of rivals, have obtained licenses and state assets and financed SP's election campaigns...
Andrea Kalemi and Andrea Çaushi from Tepelena, are another case, when justice is applying two standards: to one, it applied the anti-mafia law by arresting him, while it did not apply to the other, even though they have the same profile, even Andrea Çaushi has more activity criminally charged.
Referring to the files, it turns out that Andrea Kalemi has a file for the murder of two Tepelenas in Belgium, for rivalry in drug and women trafficking, disruption of markets and territory control and was wanted by Belgium for 15 years, but the Albanian police and justice did not arrested.
He was accused, as an organizer and participant in the murder of the businessman Edmond Papa on December 16, 2022 in Tirana, as revenge for the murder of his cousin Aleksandër Sadikaj, a conflict started for drug deals and division of wealth, made with financial resources from criminal activities.
In Andrea Kalemi's file there is also evidence of fines and money laundering with waste businesses, construction, tourism companies and property purchases in Tirana, Vlora, Durrës and Saranda.
On August 28, 2024, Andrea Kalemi was arrested in Memaliaj, where large financial values and weapons were found, and his accomplice Andrew Bode and cousin Julian Kalemi were arrested with him.
While Andrea Çaushi is not being arrested, although he has a criminal record for a structured criminal group in drug trafficking, murder and money laundering, he was caught several times with an illegal weapon, 3 times for intentional injury, kidnapping and fined.
This specimen of crimes of any kind is not being affected by justice, although he has committed the same crimes as Andrea Kalemi, even more and more serious crimes than him, proven by evidence.
But SPAK is not implementing the anti-mafia law for Andrea Çaushi, whom it should arrest and seize assets from the source of criminal activity, such as villas, apartments, bars, restaurants and businesses from Saranda to Tirana, most registered in the name of family members.
On June 6, 2017, he was arrested in Tirana during an operation between the prosecutor's offices of Albania and Italy, for the trafficking of 900 kg. drugs caught in the act in Karaburun, destined for Sicily.
But after 1 month, the Court of Appeal released him from prison, although he was proven as a traffic leader and had the Italian justice file with other evidence of drug trafficking and murder financing.
On June 21, 2021, Andrea Çaushi with his brother Visi Çaushi, injured the owner of the "Orange" bar in Sarandë, Spiro Iljadhi for drug dealing, but again he paid and escaped prison.
On November 13, 2021, the chief trafficker and murderer Andrea Çaushi was arrested in Saranda and a quantity of cocaine and a ready-to-shoot pistol were found on him, but after 2 weeks he was released for lack of evidence, while according to the SHISH report, he paid 300,000 Euros in bribes he left 50 million ALL as a guarantee.
According to another secret SHISH report, Andrea Çaushi continues to lead drug trafficking in the Tepelenë-Gjirokastër-Saranda area, while he launders the income through several businesses.
One of these businesses is the resort inside the Leather Castle in Saranda; that by Government Decision No. 501, dated August 24, 2023, has been removed and returned to the state, but the chief trafficker Andrea Çaushi is keeping him occupied and doing business without permission, because he is connected to the leaders of the government.
Andrea Kalemi alias Adriatik Kalemi and Andrea Caushi alias Renato Caushi are both from Tepelena, connected to high governmental and political circles, have financed SP election campaigns and have the same criminal profile, but one was arrested, while the other is is set free./ Pamphlet
