The scandal doesn't end with the properties alone. Xhavit Çeka has also made a name for himself with the reconstruction funds, asking for 20-25 million lek from residents to put their names on the reconstruction list...
A major corruption scheme has come to light in Pezë, Ndroq and Vaqarr, where Socialist Party officials have embezzled property and abused public funds, enriching themselves at the expense of honest citizens.
According to residents' testimonies, the former administrator of Peza was one of the main orchestrators of document forgery schemes, transferring public and private properties to close people.
But the robbery does not stop only in Peza. In Ndroq, the administrator Xhavit Çeka, another official of the Socialist Party, has used the same method, carrying out a massive alienation of properties. Sources for 'Pamphlet' indicate that Çeka has strong connections with pastor Toni Gogu, a very important name in that area.
Administrator Xhavit Çeka is known for the alienation and transfer of a 30 thousand square meter property to his relatives.
But the scandal does not end with the properties. Xhavit Çeka has also made a name for himself with the reconstruction funds after the earthquake, extorting residents who had lost their homes. To include their names on the reconstruction lists, he has demanded from them 20 to 25 million lek per family, a pure practice of extortion and state corruption.
The residents of Ndroq have raised their voices and are demanding an immediate investigation by SPAK, but so far no one has lifted a finger to stop this criminal network that has extended its influence to every local institution.
The investigation into this scheme is ongoing, while the voluminous file prepared for this matter includes a series of facts, testimonies, and documents that show how these individuals have treated public property as war booty.
In the following, we will publish more details about the activities of Xhavit Çeka, as well as the administrator of Vaqarr. /Pamphlet
