Every week they fight and curse, blocking the Assembly, but none of the MPs have refused the allowances and reimbursements....
Since October, the Assembly has been in chaos. As soon as SPAK communicated the accusations to Berisha, the opposition started a destabilizing scenario, not allowing any normal session or committee meeting. There have been over 4 months of chaos and clashes, but this has not stopped the deputies from pocketing nearly 4-5 million Lek at the end of the month.
"Pamphlet" has provided the financial data for the MPs for the months of November and December and it is noticeable that all the MPs, including those of the opposition who do not go to the committees, have received fuel reimbursement, telephone reimbursement as well as fat allowances for movement within and abroad. This includes Gazmet Bardhi, Sali Berisha, Lulzim Basha and all the others.
For the month of November, MPs received benefits totaling 24,736,740 new ALL. This includes reimbursement of fuel, telephone, rent, per diem, etc. For the month of December, this figure is 20,773,272 new ALL.
As far as salaries are concerned, in November the MPs received a total of 28,070,668 ALL, while in December 27,132,183 new ALL. So, every month there are nearly 500 million old lek that go into the pockets of deputies for unfinished work. Opposition MPs do not go to the committees. In the plenary sessions, they go enough to disrupt the meeting and in the end they get huge salaries, over 3 million allek each, they get 40 thousand allek for fuel reimbursement, they get 17 thousand allek phone reimbursement, they got endless allowances.
In the month of November, only 12,858,989 ALL were spent on the diets of the deputies. While in December only for diet 16,035,574 ALL. Opposition MPs have been penalized by removing their fees in commissions and there have been salary deductions for those excluded. But the rest have filled their pockets. The most successful are the socialists. They go online for 1 hour from home to commissions, on Thursdays they go to the session for 10 minutes and at the end of the month with 4-5 million ALL in their pocket.
In short, they fight and swear in the morning, but in the afternoon they sit down and eat and drink together. They also receive their salary at the end of the month, but they are not satisfied by receiving allowances and other benefits. In the end, the one who suffers is the people. / Pamphlet
