The May 11 elections revealed the behind-the-scenes vote-gathering through criminal networks in Kombinat, Ndroq, Vaqar, Pezë and Vorë, where the SP leadership chose Blendi Gonxha's power over Toni Gogu's loyalty...

The May 11 elections highlighted not only the fact that the Socialist Party leadership continues to rely on criminal gangs to control the electoral process, but also an internal dynamic of war for votes, where open-list candidates within the SP competed with each other to capture the same criminal gangs and groups.

One of the clearest cases is that of Minister Blendi Gonxhe, who, with the absolute power granted to him by Edi Rama, recruited and used during the electoral campaign gangs and "strongmen" who once worked for the current MP Toni Gogu.

Toni Gogu's electoral zone included Kombinati, Ndroq, Vaqarri, Peza and Vora, a vast territory where Gogu had built an illegal network of influence over the years through connections with local officials and criminal groups that guaranteed him votes and control on the ground. But this time, all these factors abandoned him, switching to the service of Blendi Gonxha.

In Ndroq, the electoral gang was led by the head of the unit Xhavit Çeka, who, in addition to his own clan and employees, also activated crime figures and businessmen who had obtained land and apartments with false papers and reconstruction funds, all in the service of votes for Gonxha.

In Vaqarr, Toni Gogu was abandoned by the head of the unit, Gentian Myrta, and his brother, Klodian Myrta, director at OSHEE, who made available to Gonxha the entire network of influence, employees, relatives, and groups that had obtained property and favors through document manipulation schemes.

In Peza, former mayor Besmir Kola and brothers Ervin and Festim Kola abandoned Gog and aligned themselves with Gonxha, using the same methods that helped build Gog's criminal empire years ago.

In Vora, he activated the Xhabafte, a criminal group that was previously in the service of Gog, especially in Kombinat, where they possess wealth and influence.

Blendi Gonxhe, in this way, did not fight the opposition, but undone the system of control set up by priest Gogu within the Socialist Party. Perhaps he did not intend to exclude Gogu from politics, but by taking control of the gangs, he also took away the votes and kicked him out of parliament, leaving him only with Babloku's "blessing".

The gangs didn't quit the game, they just changed their pattern./ Pamphlet
