The Israeli army has attacked Gaza during the night. Foreign media report that there have been many air attacks and many victims have been reported from this attack.
The number of people killed by Israel's aggression in Gaza has increased to 2,670 and the number of injured has reached 9,600. Most of the victims were children and women.
According to the United Nations, around 1 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have been displaced in the first seven days of the conflict with Israel in what the world body described as "catastrophic".
Khalil Abu Qambaz, who lives on al-Jalaa Street, said the airstrikes came without warning.
"Do the Israelis think we're going to leave here? We have nowhere to go! I'd rather die under the rubble of my house than someone else's," he said.
Another resident, Sami al-Rawagh, said he was shocked after the airstrike.
