"Death to Israel", thousands of protesters in Iran in support of the Palestinians

Mass protests in support of the Palestinians took place across Iran today. Demonstrators in Tehran carried anti-Israel banners and shouted "death to Israel". Several local politicians also participated in the gatherings.

Many protesters were seen holding the Palestinian flag and pictures of Qasem Soleimani, the head of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard unit Quds Force, who was killed in a US airstrike in 2020. So, remember, fighting between Hamas and Israel continues since Saturday.

The Israeli army called on civilians in Gaza to leave within 24 hours south of the enclave for their own safety, but the UN says the displacement of more than 1 million residents would be catastrophic.
