In just 48 hours, 28 dead and over 30 injured from extremist acts have been registered.
Extremism was one of the most talked about problems in the year we left behind and most likely the year 2025 will be characterized by such acts. This is also noticed by the fact that only in the first 48 hours of the new year, a series of extremist attacks were registered, which caused a large number of victims.
Three of the attacks took place in the US and one in Montenegro. The first attack was the one that happened in front of the hotel of the president-elect Donald Trump in Las Vegas, where a Tesla car parked nearby exploded, killing 1 person and injuring 7 others. It turned out that there were explosives inside the car.
The second attack around the same time took place in New Orleans, where a 42-year-old man identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove his car into crowds of people, killing 15 people and injuring dozens.
According to the authorities, the two events are related to each other and are being investigated to see who is behind the attacks.
A third case was recorded in Queens, New York, where 11 people were injured by gunfire in a night club.
The last case was in the Balkans, in Montenegro, where the perpetrator, identified as Aco Martinovic, shot dead 12 people, including two children, and injured 4 others before committing suicide near his apartment.
The author is suspected to have had an argument and fought in the bar, then he went home and after a short time he returned armed. He shot in the tavern and it is believed that he killed four people there. After that, he drove his car to three different addresses in Cetinje and two other places where he killed and injured several people, including two children and several members of his family.
Although the authorities there reported that the event was not related to terrorism or hatred, the cases of mass attacks are increasing day by day. Montenegro itself has been hit twice within two years at the same turn of the year by such events. Why not even inspired by such events in America, the trend of extremism is being transported to Europe and the Balkans.
In just 48 hours, 28 dead and over 30 injured from extremist acts have been registered. A scary balance sheet for 2025. Taking into account the fact that such events are also incited by extremist politicians who are gaining ground in the world arena, such cases risk repeating themselves during 2025./ Pamphlet
