Since April 22, there has been no news about Elisabetta Ferretto , a 50-year-old former model and Italian entrepreneur, also known for her public testimony about the abuses of the infamous Jeffrey Epstein.
The sudden silence has alarmed her family, who have filed a missing person's report with the Rovigo prosecutor's office in Italy . The case is now being followed up by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has initiated contacts with American authorities to verify her whereabouts.
According to Italian media reports, the last contact with him was on April 22nd.
A few days before her disappearance, she had visited her family in Veneto, in the Montagnana area (Padua ), before returning to New York . After her return, communication has been completely cut off, calls are not answered and even her social networks have been deactivated or deleted.
Elisabetta Ferretto has become known as one of the women who have spoken publicly about their experiences with Jeffrey Epstein , who was found dead in his cell in New York in 2019. She has previously confessed that she had left his environment after rejecting inappropriate behavior.
According to her previous testimony, the path to the US began in 2001 with the aim of building a career in the fashion industry. Later, through an agent, she was presented with the opportunity for meetings that supposedly would open doors to famous catwalks, including Victoria's Secret , but which, according to her, led her to contact Epstein .
In her accounts, she revealed that during a meeting at his residence in New York, the situation took an unexpected and disturbing turn, after which she managed to leave and never return.
