The trial of Nicolas Maduro and his wife has just ended.
The sound of handcuffs on Maduro's legs was clearly audible before he entered the courtroom, where he turned, nodded and appeared to say "buenos días" to several people in the room.
The most tense moment came at the end of the session, when a citizen began shouting in Spanish that he would "pay" for what he had done.
Maduro turned and responded in Spanish, calling himself a "kidnapped president" and a "prisoner of war."
