The President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has again continued to provoke with his claims for the unification and creation of a greater Serbia.
In an interview for "RTR-Belarus" television, he attacked America and the EU and accused them of wanting to keep the Serbian people divided. Despite being sanctioned by the USA, he declared that he will lead Republika Srpska as long as he has the support of the people.
“The will of the people, whom I meet every day, who are grateful to me for the policy I lead, is more important to me than the opinion of some bureaucrats from Brussels and America , that have no connection with reality and that implement some of their political agendas. Which are essentially anti-Serbian and endanger the very existence of the Dayton Agreement, which is treated as an international agreement, and endanger the Republika Srpska itself and its survival.
We must withdraw to this so-called reserve position, raise the Republika Srpska and Serbia, protect the Serbs on this and of course try to unite through historical processes, because we believe that this is the only legitimate and politically. correct idea. It is not directed against anyone, except the interests of the big ones, who cannot accept that the Orthodox, the Serbs, in the center of the Balkans, form a dominant state", said Dodik. a>
On the other hand, he praised Putin and Russia, as he said that it is better to join the "BRICS" than the EU. According to him, if you join the EU, you must surrender sovereignty, while such a thing would not happen if you join the BRICS, in which Russia is also a part.
“Here we should be happy that the EU says that one day we will ask God, a member of the EU, but at the same time we have to change ourselves, to change society and give our sovereignty to someone in Brussels who will decide for us. While BRICS shows strength, because it is an alliance of sovereign states, which no one questions. When you join the European Union, you have to give up your sovereignty, but you don't have to give up on BRICS. Therefore, it is an incomparable story," said Dodik.
