Swollen hands and strange movements, the video that revived rumors about

Vladimir Putin continues to be the center of rumors about his health. A video of him shaking hands, revealing bulging veins, has made the rounds online, sparking speculation about his condition.

The Russian president was seen clutching his hand in embarrassment during an event where the 73-year-old addressed a crowd gathered on a basketball court. The images have sparked fresh speculation that Putin is seriously ill, with online sleuths claiming he could be suffering from anything from Parkinson's disease to cancer.

"Something is wrong with Putin's hands," Anton Gerashchenko, a former adviser to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, told East2West.

"Not only is he covered in blood up to his elbows, his veins are also swollen," he added.

In November 2024, Putin's hands were the subject of speculation, with Gerashchenko posting on X how a video showed them "not moving and looking as if they were separated from his body".

In October 2024, the Kremlin said Putin had no health problems after not appearing in public for two weeks. It also said Putin had visited a Moscow hospital for medical tests.

In April 2022, a video of Putin holding a table while talking to former Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had also sparked speculation about his health.
