Democratic President Joe Biden has reacted after Trump's victory in Iowa, saying that Donald Trump is the Republican "main candidate" in the American elections to be held in November.
Biden also addressed his supporters, saying this presidential election was always going to be "you and me against the extreme MAGA Republicans."
“Donald Trump just won Iowa. He is the leading candidate at this point," Biden said on the X platform.

Donald Trump secured a landslide victory in Iowa's Republican primary, cementing his status as the clear front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
Trump secured 51.9 percent of the state's Republican vote. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis edged out former UN ambassador Nikki Haley to take second place, but trailed Trump with 21.7 percent of the vote.
Trump, who recently said immigrants are "poisoning the blood" of the nation, claims immigrants coming into the country come from prisons, mental asylums, terrorist cells and places people have never heard of.
"We will close the border. We are currently facing an invasion," Trump said.
He promised a level of deportation not seen in a long time.
Finally, before leaving the stage, he told the voters that this very special night is only the first because the big night will be in November.
