1900 killed in 4 days of Israel-Gaza fighting.
The death toll in Israel from the attack by Hamas militants has deepened greatly. The Israeli site Ynet in its latest update reports that the number of dead in Israel has reached 1,200, while in Gaza 900 have been killed.
Lt. Col. Conricus said that 1,200 Israelis were killed. They are "mostly civilians," he said. More than 2,700 people were injured.
" The increase in the number of victims is not due to the fact that there is continuous fighting", but because "now that time has passed we are discovering bodies of dead Israelis in the various communities where Hamas infiltrated and where they led their massacres " , he said.
Over 200 people have been taken hostage and Hamas has stated that it will not start any negotiations for their release until the war is over.
The Israeli army has armored the border with Gaza, awaiting the order to launch the massive attack. Israel has called on civilians in Gaza to flee to Egypt. The balance of victims from both sides has reached 1900.
It is said that among the persons in the hands of Hamas are also foreign citizens, not Israelis. Their objective is to exchange prisoners with Palestinians held in Israel.
Overnight, Israel carried out nearly a hundred airstrikes against Hamas targets in central Gaza. This was announced by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), which specify that the attacks are concentrated in the Daraj Tufah area, which, they clarify, serves as the central point from which the attacks of Hamas militants are launched.
The IDF also attacked a building suspected of being used by Islamic Jihad and reported killing several Hamas militants at the Erez crossing, the main border crossing between Gaza and Israel.

The Israeli army announces that around 300,000 soldiers are currently stationed near the Gaza Strip for the fight against Hamas.
"What we are doing in these areas near the Belt is we have sent and deployed our infantry, our soldiers, our artillery troops and many other reserve soldiers, 300,000 in total. This is to ensure that Hamas, at the end of this war, will not have the military capacity with which to threaten or kill Israeli civilians," explained Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Jonathan Conricus.
Meanwhile, America has sent the first supply of weapons to Israel. It is reported that the Boeing 747 'X7100' plane landed at Nebatim Air Base in southern Israel late on Tuesday evening, October 10. The plane is reported to be carrying advanced ammunition and other military equipment. This is claimed to be the first planeload of aid that the US is sending to Israel.
