Between April 13 and 14, US Central Command (Centcom) forces, supported by US European Command destroyers, successfully shot down more than 80 drones and at least six ballistic missiles intended to strike Israel from Iran and Yemen.
Centcom itself reports this in a post on X, underlining that " Iran's unprecedented and reckless attack threatens regional stability and the security of the United States and coalition forces ."
"US forces will continue to defend Israel against these dangerous actions and work with all of our regional partners to increase security in the region . "
Meanwhile, in a post on social networks, Biden thanked the US armed forces for the work they did in repelling 99% of Iranian missiles and drones, along with Israel and other allies.
" I spoke today with members of the 494th and 335th Fighter Squadrons to commend them for their outstanding flying ability and ability to defend Israel from an unprecedented air attack by Iran. These brave servicemen make us all proud." , writes Biden.
