According to Israeli Air Force and Intelligence Corps officials, the missiles launched by Iran last night are the most advanced they have, but not hypersonic.
" The defense is not aware that the Islamic Republic possesses this type of missile ," the IDF said. Israel's military said several air force bases were damaged in the ballistic missile attack launched by Iran on Tuesday, but that there was no damage to weapons, soldiers or aircraft.
Damage to infrastructure and property in civilian areas was "minor", possibly caused by shrapnel from interceptor missiles.
The military declined to say what the scale of the wiretapping was in Tuesday's attack, saying it was withholding details to avoid "giving Iran and Hezbollah information that would help them learn their intentions." The IDF also said the country's air defenses "performed impressively, with high interception rates."
