An Israeli woman has been hailed as a hero after saving the community of Nir Am from Hamas as Hamas terrorists launched attacks.
Lieberman, who has been part of security in the region since December 2022, heard the explosions early Saturday as Hamas launched the unprecedented and deadly attack on Israel.
She quickly realized the noises were different from what she heard during regular rocket attacks and rushed to distribute the weapons to the 12-member security team.
The 25-year-old placed her team in strategic positions throughout the settlement, setting up ambushes and turning the tables on the oncoming forces. She herself killed five terrorists, while the rest killed 20 others in a span of four hours.
While the terrorists were killing hundreds of civilians in the neighboring villages, beheading babies in their beds and kidnapping dozens of Israelis, the 25-year-old woman with her brave decision saved the settlement, turning it into an impregnable fortress.
As the Daily Mail notes, Nir Am is one of the few communities where Hamas terrorists tried to enter but were repulsed.
