Journalist Adriatik Doçi has spoken about the pyramid scheme of fraud with microcredits discovered by the prosecutor's office in Tirana. He said it is only the tip of the iceberg.
Doçi says that the arrested are only implementers, while the leaders are others, as he adds that representatives of BSH, politicians and former ministers are also implicated in this microcredit pyramid scheme.
"These characters who are in the photo (persons with security measures) are just some employees and enforcers who have the last seal left in their hands, but they are not the head of the pyramid scheme. The head of this scheme is the couple Arben Meskuti and Ernela Çuberi and Elda Ibro and Olsio Ibro. Only the latter are under security measures from the prosecution.
This is the head of the implementation of extortion of citizens. While the heads of banks, representatives of the Bank of Albania, political representatives and former ministers are implicated ," he said for "Report TV".
The victims of this scheme, which is similar to the pyramids of 1996, are thought to be 100 thousand citizens.
"It has been accepted by BSH that the number of bad loans that have passed to these financial, financial mushrooms is about 100,000", said the journalist.
He denounces that he intervened in the archive of the Ministry of Justice to steal files to eliminate this pyramid scheme.
"A compromising fact is that 60,000 files were in the Ministry of Justice and I have information that the archive of the Ministry of Justice was also interfered with and stolen in order to eliminate this pyramid scheme.
Another fact is that the Ministry of Justice itself denounced it in February 2020 and the prosecution after 3.5 years has taken these security measures, but it is to wash its hands, because the heads of the group are not. I have data that the money was taken in bags to Europe and in offshore countries, and 3 million euros were found in the banks, which are not justified by the activity of these companies", said Doçi.
