Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today in Jerusalem with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. As Reuters reports, Netanyahu said he would not accept a deal that would include ending the war.
In a statement, the State Department said the head of US diplomacy specifically mentioned the improvement in the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza "and reiterated the importance of maintaining this improvement".
Tangible progress has been made – additional crossings, increased aid into the north. But more is needed, and that's why I'm in the region this week. — @SecBlinken during a visit to a warehouse in Jordan with humanitarian aid heading to Gaza. pic.twitter.com/ajLZF3gtZC

In meetings with regional leaders in Riyadh on Monday, A. Blinken had stated that the most effective way to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza would be to reach a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
Speaking in Saudi Arabia, the US secretary of state noted that "progress" has been made in sending aid to Gaza, which Israel has besieged for six months, but more needs to be done.
