President Donald Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, is expected to travel to Moscow this week, the news was announced by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, who did not provide further details about the visit.
This will mark Witkoff's fourth visit to Russia this year. He last traveled to St. Petersburg two weeks ago for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss a possible solution in Ukraine.
Before that, Witkoff visited Moscow in mid-March, holding talks on Ukraine with senior Russian officials and later with Putin. His first visit took place in early February and included discussions on a possible prisoner exchange involving American citizen Mark Fogel.
