Meanwhile, a post on Truth Social that appears to warn of a major strike on Iran was made by US President Donald Trump on Friday morning.
"Look what happens to these crazy bastards today. They have been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, kill them. What a great honor to do this!" the American president characteristically wrote.
"We are completely destroying the terrorist regime of Iran, militarily, economically and in every other way, but if you read the failed New York Times, you would mistakenly think that we are not winning. Iran's navy is gone, its air force is gone, its missiles, drones and everything else is destroyed, and its leaders are gone from the face of the earth."
