Heavy rain is causing flooding in far north Queensland, Australia, in what authorities are describing as the worst flooding in the Australian region.
Thousands of people have been evacuated, but others remain trapped. Extreme weather driven by a tropical cyclone has brought heavy rainfall for a year in some areas.
