Hasan Bitmez, MP of the Saadet party in Turkey has lost consciousness while giving a speech in the Parliament where he was criticizing the supporters of Israel regarding the war that has started in the Gaza Strip.
The media in Turkey write that Hasan Bitmez has suffered a heart attack while giving his speech in the National Assembly, while the footage shows the moment when deputies come to help him.
The 53-year-old is in critical condition and has been admitted to a hospital in Ankara, according to a statement issued by the Turkish Minister of Health.
At the moment he lost consciousness, Hasan Bitmez hit his head on a part of the parliament podium. The 53-year-old suffers from a cardiovascular disease and is diagnosed with diabetes.
The deputy of the Saadet Party said in the assembly that Allah punishes those who support what Israel is doing in the Palestinian enclave, while also criticizing the Ministry of Defense in the country in terms of budget expenditures.
