Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has published a video on the social network "X" in which he appears buying and drinking coffee in a cafe, at a time when tensions with Iran remain high and direct threats have been issued against him.

The video was released after Tehran warned it would "hunt down and kill" the Israeli leader in response to the war launched after Israeli and American attacks on targets in Iran. At the same time, speculation spread on social media and in some media outlets that Netanyahu might have been assassinated.

In the released footage, Netanyahu is seen buying a coffee and drinking it, while ironically saying that he is "dying for coffee," an expression that is interpreted as a reaction to threats on his life.

I’m dying… for coffee, ” he said, using a Hebrew phrase that roughly translates to “to love something to death.” “ You know what? I’m ‘dying’ for my people. The way they’re behaving is fantastic ,” he added.

Threats against the Israeli prime minister have also been mentioned by Iran's Revolutionary Guard, which has publicly stated that it will "hunt down and kill" Netanyahu.

Speculation increased even more after the prime minister was absent from a meeting of the Israeli Military Council, which prompted different interpretations in the media and social networks due to the tense security situation.
