Premises frequented by homosexuals will be "targeted" by the Russian police.
The police action comes just days after LGBT+ was declared an extremist organization. Immediately after this decision, the police started raiding several nightclubs, as well as men's saunas, which are reported to be visited by homosexuals.
This action of the Kremlin caused outrage among human rights organizations, which consider it a serious violation of citizens' freedom.
In a video circulating on social media, police are seen raiding a club in Moscow where around 300 people had gathered for an LGBT+ party.
"In the middle of the party, the police stopped the music and started taking pictures of the customers' passports. The number of those arrested remains unclear. The policemen checked the passports and those who did not have a residence permit in the country were arrested," added an eyewitness.
