Putin-Vučić to meet in China, Kosovo in focus of discussions

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić will meet in China, the news was announced by the Russian presidential aide, Yuri Ushakov.

Russian President Putin will stay in China from August 31 to September 3, where he will participate in ceremonies in honor of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, as well as hold several bilateral meetings, including with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

Other world leaders will also be in China, such as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to the Russian President's aide, Putin and Vucic will also talk about Kosovo and Metohija as well as other current issues.

The two leaders will also review in detail Russian-Serbian cooperation, with a particular focus on the energy sector, as well as other strategic areas of common interest.
