A 46-year-old priest in Greece has been arrested after being part of a network that trafficked cocaine and cannabis.
A total of 8 arrests were made as part of a police operation. Another cleric was also arrested in the same case, who appears to have given drugs to a third person in Rhodes to transport him to Athens.
The 46-year-old priest, who has a criminal record for physical violence, appears to have had direct collaboration with the alleged gang leader, as he participated, among other things, in drug trafficking. Information indicates that quantities of cocaine and raw cannabis were sometimes stored inside a church in Attica, with the 46-year-old and at least one other cleric taking advantage of their status.
