The second crucial day of the G7 Summit has begun in Evian, France.
Videos and photos circulating on social media show the leaders' arrival in the hall where the summit talks and proceedings are taking place.
According to the French summit organizers, Donald Trump and other G7 leaders met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for an hour and 15 minutes. The talks focused on how to “build peace and security for Ukraine and Europe.”
The American president arrived at the summit bringing with him the agreement between the US and Iran, which is expected to occupy an important place on the agenda of the discussions.
Special attention is also expected to be paid to the issue of the Strait of Hormuz, while France supports guaranteeing freedom of navigation in the region.

Zelensky's arrival
Volodymyr Zelensky was welcomed by his French counterpart and summit host, Emmanuel Macron, in the gardens of the Hôtel Royal, on the shores of Lake Geneva, where the summit proceedings began yesterday.
The two leaders exchanged a warm handshake and walked together towards the entrance of the building, where they were photographed without making statements to reporters.
A bilateral meeting then took place before they joined other leaders to discuss efforts to advance negotiations with Vladimir Putin aimed at ending the war in Ukraine.

Zelensky seeks one-on-one meeting with Trump
President Zelensky hopes to use this opportunity to hold a one-on-one meeting with Donald Trump, who is participating in the G7 table today.
The last meeting between the two leaders took place in late December at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence.
Trump said yesterday that he had "a very good conversation with President Zelensky and President Putin."
"And I believe we can do something," he added.
Photographers also captured some interesting moments just before the summit began. In one of them, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is seen giving the US president a German national football team jersey with his name on it.
Open discussions on the Iran deal
According to people familiar with the discussions and quoted by CNN, talks between G7 leaders regarding Trump's Iran deal over dinner on Monday were "candid" and in-depth.
The dinner lasted almost two hours around a table overlooking the southern shore of Lake Geneva, as discussions expanded to other issues, including Ukraine.
After dinner, European officials said they still have questions about the deal between Washington and Tehran. Trump signed it electronically on Sunday, but its text has not been made public.
The main concern is related to the speed with which the Strait of Hormuz can be reopened to commercial traffic, to which American officials gave different answers yesterday.
Before the summit, US officials stated that they expected European countries to contribute to mine clearance efforts in Hormuz, now that hostilities have ended.
French President Emmanuel Macron, host of the summit, declared during a meeting with Trump that France is "ready to play its part" in supporting the agreement.
However, Trump downplayed the need for European assistance, arguing that the agreement itself would allow for the free opening of the sea route.
"I don't think we'll need a lot of help, but I don't think it's a bad idea to have one or two ships here from some countries," he declared.
