President Donald Trump has begun his meeting with EU leaders after meeting with Zelensky. At the start, he said that Russian President Vladimir Putin accepts security guarantees for Ukraine.
Speaking earlier, Trump said: "I believe that in a very important step, President Putin agreed that Russia would accept security guarantees for Ukraine."
He adds: "I think European nations will take on a big part of the burden. We will help them and make it very safe."
"We should also discuss possible territory exchanges," he said.
