Italy was shocked this evening by a macabre crime. Two women, mother and daughter, have been killed in Cisterna di Latina.
According to local media, 49-year-old Nicoletta Zomparelli and her 19-year-old daughter, Renè Amato, were found dead in her apartment. The suspected perpetrator is a 27-year-old man, identified as Christian Sodano, originally from Formia and working in Ostia.
The alarm was raised around 5:00 p.m. after gunshots were heard in a house on the outskirts of the San Valentino neighborhood. When the police arrived at the scene, they found the two women dead and a 22-year-old girl in shock.
The latter is the ex-girlfriend of the author and was present at the time of the shooting. According to preliminary data, the young man with a financial profession had a violent fight with his ex-girlfriend, with whom he had recently broken up.
During the fight, the girl's mother and sister intervened and at that moment, he started shooting. The 22-year-old ran away, locking herself in the toilet, but her mother and sister were killed. The young man managed to escape from the apartment but was then stopped by the police.
