US President Donald Trump stated that Iran has suffered major losses in its leadership structures after the recent bombings that hit Tehran's leadership.
Speaking from the White House, Trump said that "two levels of leadership are now gone" and that only a third leadership group remains on the scene.
He stressed that the damage to Iran's military capabilities is considerable.
"Their army is gone. Their navy is gone. Their communications are gone," the US president declared.
Trump added ironically that, despite these losses, "they're doing very well."
At the end of his statement, the American president said that the situation created has further increased the prestige of the United States in the international arena.
"I think we are a more respected country at this moment than we have ever been before," he said.
