A shocking event has been reported in Turkey, where the well-known DJ Mehmet Koray Alpergin has been murdered in a macabre manner.
According to foreign media, Mehmet Koray Alpergin and his girlfriend were kidnapped on their way home from an expensive Italian restaurant in Mayfair, central London, last October.
They were taken to an empty bar off Hart Lane, where 43-year-old Mr Alpergin was allegedly beaten, choked, scalded with boiling water, stabbed, mutilated and raped.
His body was later dumped in an Essex forest and his 34-year-old girlfriend, Gozde Dalbudak, spent two days locked in a toilet before being released, foreign media reported .
Six men are on trial at the Old Bailey charged with murder, kidnapping, abduction and perverting the course of justice. He was also said to be heavily in debt with a host of claims against him, including £32,405 for his Audi.
