The spokesman of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, reacted harshly to Ukraine's statements that "Russians are being killed". Peskov has threatened all Ukrainian politicians who issue threatening statements against the Russians. He said that the response will be harsh and that Russia will not stop fighting against its enemies.
" The Russians are being killed, that's what our enemies say, and we have to fight against them. Russians should not be threatened, " Peskov said, commenting on the statements of the adviser to the Ukrainian president, Mykhailo Podolyak, and other Ukrainian officials.
He further added that Kiev's plan is to destroy the Russians, but according to him Ukraine will not succeed and Moscow will triumph in the end.
Russia's threatening rhetoric has started to be used again since the launch of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, which is giving its first results. Kiev troops have seen some advances in the regions of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia.
