Kiev forces say seven Russian drones were destroyed overnight in the Ukrainian regions of Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa and Kherson.
In a statement in 'Telegram' it is said that the attacks targeted the energy infrastructure. On the other hand, it is confirmed that there were no casualties or critical damage. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has again called on the USA for weapons.
In an interview with the Washington Post, Zelensky asked the United States for Atacms missiles to hit airports and airplanes in Crimea.
He stressed that Kiev does not want to use long-range missiles to attack Russian territory. The Ukrainian president says he will kick the Russians out of airports just as he kicked them out of Ukraine's territorial waters.
Asked if he believes US President Joe Biden is cautious about securing weapons, Zelensky replied that Biden 'is cautious about a nuclear attack from Russia'.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian president said that his country's options depend on what the US Congress decides.
"We can't waste any more time: Ukraine cannot be a political issue between the parties ," he said.
In this context, Zelensky said that critics of aid to Kiev do not understand what is at stake in the war.
"If Ukraine falls, Putin will divide the world into friends and enemies of Russia ," Zelensky concluded.
