"I'm nervous about my parents' house. My brother also lives near their house and both are in danger of burning down," said a resident.
Strong winds and high temperatures have caused the fire to spread to a wider perimeter. According to the emergency forces, more than 5 thousand hectares of forests have been burned by the fire that continues to be active since Tuesday. Meanwhile, more than 4,500 people have left the area.
Also, many tourists have cut their vacations short because of the smoke. Nearly 500 fire brigades and 17 aircraft were engaged in extinguishing the fire.
