Albanian justice actors, dressed in outdated American suits, torn by the endless storms of the political mafia, are no longer appearing with fanfare in the electoral campaign like gladiators promising the end of impunity. Expectations for mass arrests of candidates for deputies, always seen on the "security" lists, are fading by the hour.
However, without these clowns and without this grotesque scene, after the village theater was knocked over by a large fish with its tail, we would have nothing left to talk about. Not the sound show, not the plastic toys, not the faint sound of a hammer on the anvil of time.
The tradition of political shows in Albania requires that the front row of spectators be foreign diplomats. Meanwhile, the seat of the American ambassador has long been kept empty. This time, the curtain on the fourth act of this political circus has been raised by the King of Thieves himself.
In this improvised performance, actors perform pirouettes on the thin wires of empty promises, masking their faces with forced smiley makeup in anticipation of the May 11 parliamentary elections.
You can't be silent without shouting: Arrest the thieves, enough of the theater!
In truth, no one enjoys this tiresome game of clowns, who dance on ethical illusions and force, especially in the ancient hall of the Albanian legal order. The spectacle on the invisible strings of justice has become unbearable. Some of these clowns, favorites of the mafia, after each performance can be found in Parliament, in the government or in state offices. Others, less able to bear the weight of their wealth, fall from the stage and end up in some "hole" of the law for treatment, or retire as forgotten backstage actors.
On the other side of the stage, the door to the fourth term is rusted and has a heavy American steel latch. There is no strength to push it further. Political actors have already stuck their hands in the molten lead next to the grotesque monument to corruption that is expected to appear as the "next surprise."
A fall from the rope of these political puppets could shake the entire troupe that has been performing Chinese circus acts in the "American amphitheater" of Albanian democracy for 34 years./ Pamphlet
