Erion Braçe's approach to KLSH is nothing but political
Erion Brace /

Braçe, Rama and his ilk want a Key Purchase of modern times...

Erion Braçe stated yesterday, complaining, that he was talked about in the media, only that he made criticisms and proposals to the Supreme State Control.

In this sense, Erion has behaved like a victim of what he calls a conditioned attack on him. But it seems that the situation is completely different.

Although Erion articulated the Pamphlet article verbatim, he did not mention it. However, avoiding his almost derogatory rhetoric, I'm telling him the truth:

Erion Braçe is one of the leaders of the ruling majority. Member of the presidency of the SP, leader of the group and chairman of the commission, who has long undertaken a campaign of criticism against the High State Control.

This attitude could not be easily passed on to the public, since firstly it is news, and secondly, as news, it is worth analyzing.

The Supreme State Control is, by the Constitution, an independent institution. Institution that audits the finances of the Albanian state, in the European model, closer to the Italian one of the Corte degli Conti.

In Albania, KLSH started its activity as a 'cob' of Sali Berisha with Blerim Çela at the head, who became the man who audited not his own government, but political opponents. Fatos Nano was imprisoned after a denunciation by Blerim Çela; the newspaper "Koha Jonë" was attacked after an inquisition of Blerim Çela and so on.

The bad name of Blerim Çela's KLSH led to the signing of the Sant Egidio Pact in 1997, according to which KLSH belongs to the opposition, and Fatos Nano was given to a representative of the National Front, such as Mustafa Kërçuku.

Berisha broke the pact by appointing one of his former MPs, Bujar Leskaj, to head this institution.

KLSH, despite the good and the bad, created an institutional tradition. The traditions that with the current leadership of Arben Shehu, were preserved.

KLSH is neither SPAK nor the prosecutor, but an institution that tracks financial violations as much as possible. Which he addresses where necessary. Therefore, the Americans and the EU have supported and supported him, even with funds and training.

Erion Braçe's attack jumps out because it is political, political because he does not like the conclusions of the KLSH reports. And this is the biggest compliment for an independent institution. The government and the majority cannot and should not like the report of an institution that it does not control. But it cannot and should not be attacked for this.

Why Braçe and his colleagues do not analyze the results of the audit of KLSH, with arguments?

Because at the end of the day, that's the point. If a majority attacks the KLSH, it conveys a political signal not to be audited, not to be denounced, not to be involved in abuse and corruption affairs.

Erion Braçe is an old deputy, he was a journalist and he knows that from an investigation or even an opinion, even if it is incomplete, nothing bad comes to the majority or the government. Only if you want the majority to have no people to control it. And here we are dealing with another matter. Here we are really dealing with an institutional attack, that the KLSH is wanted within the government, that is, they want a Blerim Cëlë of modern times./ Pamphlet
