Albania today, together with Kosovo and the Albanian part of North Macedonia, is a superpower in the Illyrian Plain. And this has worried both neighboring policies of Albania and Kosovo: both Serbia and Greece.
But Albanianism is now in continuous economic, cultural and military progress.
Meanwhile, American and Brussels politics are understood to have a plan to enter into a new scheme regarding the two Albanian states on our peninsula; and which today number about 10 million Albanians: Albania 3.5 million; Kosovo 2 million Albanians; North Macedonia 2 million Albanians; and Chameria about 3 million Albanians.
And there should be no delay in this plan, because today it is known that a strong Albania and Kosovo; gives NATO and American policy itself, a new value of strength in the conflict between NATO and Russia.
This is because the Slavs of the Illyrian Peninsula understandably do not want a clash with Albanians. But American politics has advertised it in its program with clear judgment when it emphasized that: " we will return to the Albanians all the territories that have been inhabited by Albanians for thousands of years."
And this is now understood to be a new and irreversible policy; but, within it, it is also understood that, as a policy, North Macedonia is also entering here.
However, in history this wait was long; the Slavs understood that this time would come; because the Albanians were conquered for hundreds of years by the southern Slavs; even though the Slavs exerted all the pressure, they had no chance to assimilate the Albanians, with the exception of the Albanian Catholics who were conquered by Serbia; who are today assimilated; because they turned into Orthodox of the Serbian church.
But even here there is a specificity, because assimilated Albanian Catholics, most of them; have preserved Catholic surnames such as: nika; deda; doda; gjoni; gini; simoni; paloka, etc.
