For years, Berisha has been calling and exhausting a group of people in the DP, telling them "Rama will leave in June, September, October", or that "we will win the elections and come to power", without openly declaring the real issue, which is staying or leaving.
Sudden changes are expected to occur in the Democratic Party. And while many believe that "Berisha did not run away from there without becoming prime minister", words from the blue office say that "surprises are expected to happen before the elections". There is no doubt that Sali Berisha, as an old politician, is clear that "his political time is over, and that he will never become prime minister". But he loves work and trouble, so he behaves as if he "will never leave the presidency". The fate and struggles of the Democratic Party, led by Berisha, are already known. Even Berisha, Noka, Salianji, Gaz Bardhi, and all those who are awake from "lethargy", seeing the non-attendance of the internationals, know this. It is an unwritten condition in Albanian politics, "if you don't get on well with the internationals, you are in vain trying to come to power".
But that's what happens. For years, Berisha has been calling and exhausting a group of people in the DP, telling them "Rama will leave in June, September, October", or that "we will win the elections and come to power", without openly declaring the real issue, which is staying or leaving. But even fatigue and exhaustion, or better to say that "everything has a limit", have had the right effect. And they would definitely do it, seeing how the opposition squirms in the halls, commissions, courtyards burning chairs, mannequins, and not gaining anything, neither the sympathy of the democrats, nor their trust and hope that "one day this PD comes to power ". Daily accusations and denunciations, in any democratic country, are made with facts and served to the competent bodies, and are the right thing, when they do not turn into "boring" for people.
The only thing that today's PD with chairman Berisha is doing is intimidating every minister, prime minister, police director, or mayor, and that's it. They accuse, curse, slander, storm the doors of municipalities and ministries, turning the party into a "partisan battalion". A political party should not be kept on its feet and function as such, only by verbal and physical attacks on the opponent, but it should move rhythmically with programs, ideas, alternatives, and systematic work with its supporters, to arouse lost faith and hope. This PD of Berisha has neglected, or rather, it has completely forgotten its voter, supporter and membership. All those MPs whose voice was not heard in the Parliament until 1 month ago, today received the "flag" of the rebel, the attacker, and the arsonist.
The reason? He needs this behavior to secure a place on the new list of candidates for deputy for 2025. All this delicate and very chaotic situation in that party, as well as the lost chances that Berisha has to win the elections tomorrow and become prime minister, have put into "serious question" the continuation of his position, until the day of the elections as party leader. And this is not from any internal pressure or pressure, but simply from his premonition that, not only will he lose the elections, but also that his escape, after the defeat, will be sensational and spectacular. Therefore, in order to avoid such "surprises with consequences", Berisha is getting ready to "suddenly transfer the presidency" to someone else, (probably to Argita and possibly being declared honorary president) undoubtedly his most trusted. There is still no allusion to any particular name, but anyway they are thinking to save the name and figure of Berisha from the loss of 2025. In case this also does not happen, undoubtedly Berisha's departure will be not only sensational, but also shameful .
