The DP makes decisions and behaves precisely by doing just the opposite of what a right-wing force should do.
One of the most serious things today, which is evident with all its power in Albania and especially in the opposition, is the fact that people are not trained or prepared to think about the common good, for the good of the country and society, but are only capable of thinking about how their group is affected or benefits.
Mark Lilla, an American thinker, writes extensively that this is a form of power of ignorance, of ignorance, and even of the desire not to know and not to learn.
People, even intentionally, due to their own interests and the interests of their group, lose the ability to know and understand the truth. This certainly destroys not only the interests of the country and the good of society, but also their own interests and those of their group.
Right-wing or conservative forces throughout history have been afraid of this path, have feared this behavior, and have spoken of prudence, caution, self-restraint, and withdrawal from emotion and lust.
It is here at these coordinates that the right was founded. In Albania, the DP, which has claimed for years to represent the right, has never been a force guided by caution, prudence, self-restraint, self-restraint, detachment from lust and emotions of anger or resentment, and consequently failed to think beyond how power or political reality affects it and its people at a time when it should be thinking (as a right-wing force about how society and the country are affected).
Now the situation is very difficult. By allowing this way of existing and this way of understanding politics to deepen year after year, even decade after decade, things have gone to a very far point, to the point where the DP is completely defined, makes decisions and behaves precisely by doing just the opposite of what a right-wing force should do.
Even the entire debate, or all the discussions within it today, are about useless things, whether some leaders should leave or the president should leave, whether analyses should be done branch by branch or section by section, whether parliament should be entered or boycotted, whether some MPs, some leaders or the president are to blame, whether Sorosists have infiltrated, whether there was betrayal from within, etc.
No matter how difficult, no matter how terribly difficult, it is possible for the opposition to transform into a right-wing and conservative force that truly internalizes the principles of prudence, self-restraint, self-criticism, not blaming the enemy or opponent for everything, decency, respect for the dignity of every human being, belief in political freedom, economic freedom, religious freedom.
It is possible to understand that there is nothing good for the opposition as such in itself. Good for the opposition is everything that is good for the country and for society. This is where the role and duty of the right begins and in fact ends. There is no other choice. It is useless, absolutely useless.
