The situation was more dramatic for small parties.
In the latest 'Voice of Albanians' poll, it turned out that if early elections had been held yesterday, the DP would receive only three-quarters of the votes it received in the May 2025 elections, while the SP would receive 5/6 of the votes it received in those elections domestically.
In other words, the DP would receive only 58 votes for every 100 votes of the SP, while eight months ago it received a full 66 votes for every 100 votes of the SP (see the graph below). As a result, the DP would not even be able to secure the 50 parliamentary mandates it currently has…
The situation was more dramatic for small parties. Yesterday, they would receive only 1/3 of the votes they received in the May 2025 elections.
In other words, small parties would receive only 11 votes for every 100 SP votes domestically, while eight months ago they received a full 26 votes for every 100 SP votes.
As a result, small parties would not be able to secure even the few parliamentary mandates they currently have (perhaps only Qor's 'Together Movement' and Doshi's PSD, which have stable electorates, would manage to be re-entered into the Assembly).
