I think you laughed in vain at Endri Shabani's uncle and Adriatik's aunt, because the following have entered the competition: • Besnik's son, • Fahri's son, • the wife of the late Gerti, • Halimi's nephew.
This is the funniest year in politics.
For several months, news about the nephews, uncles, aunts, and sisters-in-law of political actors has been appearing on screens.
Less than two months later, the Democratic Comedy Party has completely trivialized the most important electoral process, turning the mayoral race into a parody of the Tirana variety show.
I think you laughed in vain at Endri Shabani's uncle and Adriatik's aunt, because they entered the competition:
• Besnik's son,
• Fahri's son,
• the wife of the late Gerti,
• Halim's nephew.
The long list of family members that the Democratic Party seeks to promote is endless.
With just a few hours left before the deadline for re-registration of candidates for the Municipality of Tirana, the "major" party has begged the "minor" parties to find names to ostensibly run for.
Clearly all the names are taken from Berisha's office and are his scheme.
I really have a lot of respect for Edlira, Florian, Ermal, Klevis and Andi, because they have their own personalities, without the need for the shadow of their families. But the problem lies with those who try to misuse them.
The DP is using their names and tarnishing their careers with its lack of seriousness.
Berisha, busy "checkmate" after announcing the election date, has appeared ridiculous in the eyes of the public.
His comic party was left alone with those protesting on Sala Alley.
Its MPs do not sacrifice for two reasons:
-Because they are so worthless that they have the loss in their pocket, after Berisha placed them on closed lists for 30 years;
-Because they lose the MP's salary of 4,000 euros.
The comedy party has remained empty. It has no problem closing: the DP is "open with four gates," but no one enters.
Even passersby, when they pass by the DP headquarters, change sides to avoid approaching Lana, because the entire headquarters smells bad.
The Democratic Party is not playing a parody, but the pandemic has hit there, and everyone is keeping their distance.
Berisha, after consuming and using his own, now seeks to use their families.
But this is not the end, because he has decided to trivialize the electoral race.
By tomorrow, he will invent 10 more names of family members who will announce their candidacies for Tirana, and tomorrow evening he will sit with them saying:
"We don't have a consensus in the party on who to support."
He declares 10 times a day that he will not boycott, but this is the new form of his political game.
Now he only has two things left:
It would be more honest to say: "I'm waiting for Edi Rama to give his consent for a name," or to tell Bajrami: "Postpone the election date to 2030," because the comedy crew doesn't have a single clown or parodist to act on the Tirana stage.
