This climate is the greatest privilege these politicians have created for SPAK.
Ilir Meta and Sali Berisha imitate each other every time they appear at SPAK to be questioned about the charges that have been brought against them. Both pretend to the public that they have gone to SPAK to accuse SPAK and list a series of charges against their opponents, telling SPAK what to do and what not to do.
In fact, the language of slandering opponents, a "school" founded by Sali Berisha and turned into his personal brand, has become the main enemy of Berisha, Meta and other politicians, including government ones, in relation to SPAK.
Denigrating language without any facts against opponents, inventing "facts" in order to use justice against each other, has ultimately created a popular perception that all politicians are corrupt and all thieves, because they accuse each other. In this fog created by them, SPAK has a very easy job.
He can point the finger at any politician he wants and he has the support of public opinion ready, which is actually not so much created by the facts, but by the language of the "school" of Sali Berisha, Ilir Meta and others.
This climate is the greatest privilege these politicians have created for SPAK.
Despite the public perception that SPAK is popular with 90% of Albanians, in fact this does not come from its results, as we still do not have a genuine judicial process completed by SPAK for the initial accusations it has raised against politicians. The great popular support for him comes because of the perception created in the public opinion of the smearing of politicians by the politicians themselves.
What Sali Berisha said about Ilir Meta would be enough for no one to feel sorry for Meta being arrested; what Ilir Meta said about Sali Berisha would be enough for no one to feel sorry for the proceedings against him; what Berisha said about Rama would be enough for him to be sentenced to 100 years, and so on.
Therefore, now this attempt to tell SPAK what to do after they are arrested is a little late. Before they made it easy for SPAK to work with facts against each other, they made it easy and impossible for SPAK not to find facts against them, after they created support in public opinion with their lies .
Look at a young politician of the thirty-year-old generation who imitates Sali Berisha, Belind Kelliçi. He goes to a show and surprises the journalist and the Albanians with a "secret" that Erion Veliaj wants to escape to Switzerland. Today he adds another surprise, that they did not let him enter the USA, even though his boss insisted that he would notify the FBI so that they would return him.
It's not the case that brochkulla says, that this is a matter of personal choice, how much credibility you want to have. The fact is that similar accusations against him have led him to SPAK as a scapegoat to politically balance the investigations against Veliaj. He was summoned on the same day as Veliaj to be investigated for allegations of a false matriculation certificate and declaration of wealth, which appears to have been a rushed process without any serious basis against him.
But the mud has done its job and he may pay dearly for his style of doing politics, suffering himself from the mud for political needs, as Berisha calls it.
Because, after all, SPAK has it easy for anyone it puts on the list. It goes to the verification of wealth and, in a country where informality is a source of livelihood, there is no one who does not get caught in the net. And, unfortunately, this is how all processes against senior politicians are ending.
But SPAK is not to blame for this. Among other things, he has high popular support precisely for this language of smearing each other and creating the absolute conviction that here all politicians are thieves and stealers, because of their lies about each other.
And whoever thinks that he wins by the sword will die by the sword. As it is happening.
