Two young men have been caught by the police in the Milot-Tirana axis, after transporting goods worth about 50,000 euros from Kosovo in vans, without tax invoices.
It is learned that the arrested are from Kukësi, namely Istref Onuzi and Ajet Doçi.
The police seized the 2 vans, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food products and gold jewelry.
"Finalized by the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, the coded police operation "Passage". They were transporting with vans, goods worth about 50,000 euros, without tax invoices, they were caught red-handed on the "Milot-Tirana" axis, and 2 citizens were put in handcuffs. 2 vans and goods of various types are seized. As a result of the rapid administration of police intelligence, provided within the framework of the "Rule of Law" mega-operation, that 2 citizens were transporting with vans, goods of considerable value, suspected of being smuggled from Kosovo, the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic Crimes -Financials finalized the coded police operation "Passage".
During the operation, citizens IO, 29 years old, and AD, 37 years old, both residents of the village of Nange, Kukës, were caught in the act, on the "Milot-Tirana" road axis. In the vans driven by these citizens, the Police services found and seized as material evidence, various goods (pharmaceutical products), with a total value of around 50,000 euros, without tax receipts. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions", inform the blue ones.
