An accident occurred a few minutes ago on the Lushnja-Fier highway, at the place known as "Driver's Rest", where a motorcycle collided with a "VW" type vehicle.
The incident occurred under still unclear circumstances, while the collision between the two vehicles was severe. As a result of the accident, the driver of the motorcycle was seriously injured. He was immediately transported to the Lushnja Hospital by ambulance, where he is reported to be in critical condition.
Traffic Police services immediately arrived at the scene, working to manage traffic and discipline vehicle movement, as congestion was created on the road for several minutes.
According to initial police data, it is suspected that the "VW" vehicle entered the intersection, while the motorcycle with foreign license plates collided with it.
Meanwhile, the investigation team is expected to arrive at the scene to carry out procedural actions and determine the exact causes of this serious accident.
