A serious accident has occurred in the Murriz Tunnel, along Arbri Street. It is learned that several people have been injured and ambulances have been sent from Tirana towards the tunnel.
It is learned that they were taken to the Trauma Hospital. As a result, the tunnel was closed and cars were diverted to the Murriz bypass.
" At around 16.40, inside the Murriz tunnel, a vehicle driven by Italian citizen FT and a vehicle driven by citizen AK collided.
As a result, 3 passengers were slightly injured and were transported to the hospital for medical attention.
Meanwhile, the two drivers of the vehicles were tested for alcohol and the results were 00 mg/l. The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident ," the police emphasize.
