The Tirana police have reacted in relation to the claims made by the family members of a lady who had an accident on the white lines in Tirana on September 28, while the driver of the vehicle left the scene.
According to family members, the police officer who dealt with the incident was bribed by the author and justice was not done. In a long response, the police admit that the person who caused the accident has been released.

On 28.09.2024, around 21:00, we received a notification from the hall that an injured lady has gone to the Trauma Hospital, who claims to have been hit by a vehicle.
The lady stated that she did not see the vehicle or what hit her and she does not remember what happened to her. Immediately, OPGJ N. Babaj went to the Trauma Hospital, who made contact with the injured person, named R. Beçoku, born in 1971. The lady stated that she does not remember what happened, but thinks that she was hit by a car. On the part of OPGJ N. Babaj, the case has been assessed and communicated with the operating room, to enable the clarification of the event. He requested the formation of the investigative group and went to the place of the event to inspect the place of the event. When he arrived at the scene, the citizen named F.Canaj, who introduced himself and stated that his son was involved in a collision with a lady, worried about the incident, F.Canaj had gone to the place of the accident to see what had happened and there he contacted the officer N. Babaj, to whom he told about his son. The driver of the vehicle is Sh. Canaj. OPGJ Nikoll Babaj carried out the inspection of the scene and accompanied the driver of the vehicle, together with the vehicle, to the police station.
