An off-duty police officer was involved in an accident on Tuesday afternoon in the Fresku area of Tirana, and the police have identified the vehicle.
The accident occurred at around 17:40, where a vehicle hit citizen A. L, a police officer, who was off-duty.
"Around 17:40, in Fresk, a vehicle with a still unidentified driver hit citizen A. L (off-duty police officer). The police officer is in hospital, under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life. The vehicle has been identified and efforts are underway to find it and the driver. The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the Police statement said.
