The arrest of the head of the police station in Laç, Balla reacts: The fight to clean up the hotbeds of crime continues

The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has reacted regarding the operation where the chief of the police station in Laç was arrested, as well as the announcement of the search for three others, as part of the "Flame at sea" operation.

"The process of self-cleaning of the State Police continues intensively. The State Police in cooperation with SPAK have arrested this afternoon the Chief of Police Kurbin, who is suspected of cooperation with the leaders of a criminal group, against whom arrest warrants have also been issued.

Strengthening the cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the common fight for cleaning up the centers of crime in front of and within the organization of the State Police itself, will take Albania to another level of the rule of law", writes Balla .
