Other details from the SPAK mega-operation are revealed.
According to media reports, the search for crime bosses, in addition to Albania, has extended to the United Arab Emirates.
So far, 9 people have been arrested in Albania, while 5 others have been arrested abroad in cooperation with international partners.
17 other people have been served arrest warrants in prison, where they are also serving sentences for other criminal offenses.
Meanwhile, the operation is ongoing to locate and arrest others who are suspected to be abroad, including the United Emirates.
In this extensive operation, a number of properties that are suspected to have come from crime have fallen into the hands of SPAK.
On the order of SPAK, during the operation, the police found and seized an amount of 3 million euros in the apartment of Fatmir Troplini, the son of the businessman Xhevdet Troplini, known in Durrës by the nickname "Poja".
Meanwhile, the police have seized significant amounts of precious jewelry and florins from the controls in different cities of Albania. Dozens of properties and 10 armored cars were also seized.
While the investigation groups are continuing their work to verify the other properties of the arrested, an official statement from SPAK is also expected.
Yesterday, the Police, FNSH and RENEA launched an action in several cities of the country in the early hours of the morning with the aim of catching the heads of crime in the country.
The purpose of the action is to clarify old criminal events that have shocked the entire public opinion in recent years, where the protagonists are the Duka clan, Avdylajt and Endrit Dokle, who are suspected as organizers and as persons who know about the fate of the gambling businessman.
Ervis Martinaj has been missing since August 2022, while the Special Prosecutor's Office has uncovered a series of executions carried out by the two rival clans.
Today's operations by FNSH and RENEA are taking place in Tirana, Vlorë, Lezhë and Krujë, while checks are also being carried out in apartments.
The investigation was launched after transcripts of the Sky code conversations these people used with each other.
SPAK has targeted well-known local criminals such as Valter and Durim Bami, the two brothers Leonard and Erlis Duka, Fatmir Hyseni alias Docja, the two brothers Astrit and Altin Avdylaj in Shijak and their cousin Aldo Avdylaj. All these names, completely different from each other, are united by only one thing: the common enemy, Ervis Martinaj.
